Hello everyone!
This is my first (of many) blog posts! I am so excited. There is so much to learn about this part of the education business, and slowly I am taking my first steps. With that being said, I hope that you all share this journey with me in the days that follow.
Right now, I am a 4th grade reading and social studies teacher at a STEM Magnet school in Nashville, TN. It's a whole different ball game here because we have so many acronyms that we use: STEM, PBL, PBS, SIC (scientist in the classroom), and more that I cannot even begin to remember. What's great about this is that everything flows together, sometimes not as smoothly for the teacher as it does for the students, but in the end the learning process is amazing.
